Projective Group’s Carbon Reduction Targets Validated by the SBTi, Marking a Milestone in Sustainability Commitment

Projective Group is proud to announce that its carbon reduction targets have been formally validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), demonstrating a firm commitment to reaching net zero by 2040, ten years ahead of the Paris agreement.

The globally recognised SBTi works with organisations worldwide to define science-based emissions reduction targets. By receiving SBTi validation, Projective Group’s net zero strategy now has the endorsement of one of the world’s most trusted climate action frameworks. This news builds upon our ISO14064-1 verified greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions report and recently certified net zero transition plan under the BSI Net Zero Pathway.

Projective Group wants to be part of the solution and our experts are on hand to support organisations as they plan their own transition and respond to increasing demand for disclosure from complex regulations, such as the CSRD, ISSB and upcoming UK SRS.

• Overall Net-Zero Target: Projective Group commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2040.
• Near-Term Targets: Projective Group commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year. Projective Group also commits to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions 51.6% per USD value added within the same timeframe.
• Long-Term Targets: Projective Group commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 97% by 2040 from a 2023 base year. Projective Group also commits to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions 97% per USD value added within the same timeframe.
