DORA for Senior Management
DORA requires companies to prepare for various types of ICT risks and threats. One of the key obligations is to train senior managers in recognizing and preventing these threats effectively.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to answer the following questions:

Course objectives
Participants will be able to:
- understand a company’s responsibilities to comply with DORA regulations
- ensure that ICT risk management works effectively
This training allows you to comply with DORA Article 5, Paragraph 4: “Members of the management body of the financial entity shall actively maintain sufficient knowledge and skills to understand and assess ICT risks and their impact on the operations of the financial entity, including by regularly attending specific training sessions proportionate to the ICT risks being managed.”
Course outline
As a preparation to the classroom training, free access is foreseen for all participants to the DORA Awareness and Cyber Security Awareness e-learnings.
The three-hour classroom training covers all topics relevant for senior management, including:
- the relationship between DORA and other regulations
- the five pillars of DORA
- the specific requirements for financial institutions
- the obligations for management
