Every time you transfer money to somebody else’s account, when you swipe your card for your groceries, or when a subscription service debits money from your account, you are making use of a payment instrument. How are these payments made possible, what happens behind the scenes when you use them, and how will payments change in the future. This course helps you develop your skills and knowledge about payments.
Course objectives
After following the online course Introduction to Payments, you will have gained basic knowledge and skills about fundamentals of payments processing. You will have a general understanding of what tools, systems and parties you encounter in the payments industry, what agreements, laws, and regulations are in place. You will not only gain general knowledge, but substantial skill to apply the learnings at work and discuss with colleagues.
