Article 4 of the EU AI Act, effective from February 2, 2025, mandates that providers and deployers of AI systems ensure their personnel possess adequate AI literacy.

Non-compliance with Article 4 can lead to legal risks, including potential breaches of duty of care and implications under employment law. Organisations are advised to assess their current AI literacy levels and implement appropriate measures promptly to align with the AI Act's requirements.

This training offers the required structured introduction to AI. It covers key concepts, business applications, and regulatory compliance under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act. It is designed to empower professionals to engage with trustworthy AI, ensuring ethical, transparent, and responsible AI adoption while considering its environmental and societal impact.

The workshop explores AI governance, bias mitigation, and human oversight, equipping participants with the knowledge to integrate AI in an ethical and compliant manner.

Basic prompting techniques are covered in order to get relevant and high-quality output from AI systems.

Note: If you’re a Project Lead involved in the deployment of AI systems, we recommend taking the Project Lead version of this e-learning. It contains the same content as this one, plus an additional module that provides practical guidance on the implementation of AI systems, including best practices for responsible deployment, impact assessment, and aligning AI strategies with sustainability and corporate responsibility goals.
