Splash Projects is an initiative which utilises team-building exercises outside the everyday workplace to provide a long-lasting difference to local charities and communities. Their mission is to help companies build healthy teams and successful leaders, enabling individuals to develop their skills whilst also making a genuine difference in the world.
Projective Group has a longstanding relationship with Splash Projects, having completed several projects over recent years and experienced the huge range of benefits that they bring, both to our staff and the local community. This year was no different, and our UK team were excited to continue the tradition and deliver another valuable project for a local primary school in line with our ongoing CSR goals and commitments.
Taking place over the course of two days, this year’s task involved building multiple pieces of new playground equipment for the school’s Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils to help promote imaginative and creative play. In this deprived area of London, many of the 300+ pupils do not have regular access to outside spaces, so providing a safe, fun, and engaging playground area is hugely important for the school.
Everyone involved put in a tremendous effort to build the new play structures and the team were delighted to see the excited reactions from the pupils. We would like to say a huge thank you to Splash Projects for organising yet another enjoyable, rewarding, and meaningful project that we are very proud to have been a part of!
