After his successful completion of this masterthesis at the Radboud University of Nijmegen, Luc has started his career as an eager and hungry Risk & Compliance consultant ready to help its clients in the best possible way forward. Tackles problems in a structured way and keeps calm. Would rather think twice than act once too quickly. Possesses a good set of social skills. Enthusiasm and curiosity are terms that suit Luc well. This together with a fresh view on problems and social issues are a good combination for client and practice.
Due to his background in Financial law, Luc has a broad view on legislation that is applicable for financial institutions and knows how to translate these requirements to practical solutions. No nonsense way of working and will always set that extra step for a client.
Relevant experience
- Participated in the research for and preparation of CDD files. Dived into the basic principles of dossier preparation and made the first set-ups for these files. Helped the client to understand the risks of the parties that were investing in projects.
- Performed international GAP analyses for pension fund in the field of Substantial shareholding disclosure. Made a clear overview of the requirements that needed to be met and how to achieve those requirements.
- DORA/IT compliance. Has basic knowledge on DORA legislation and what this means for institutions. How and when do we need to be compliant, just ask me.
- Memos written on sharing personal data to third-party countries. GDPR-legislation.
