During almost my whole career in the financial industry, I have always been connected to payments. Payments are the water of the economy. At the same time payments processing is very complex. Friction and outages immediately have a big impact which is why resilience is critical

The road to digital and instant payments is still ongoing, and innovations like the digital euro are ready to be introduced. The “Devil is in the Details” is commonly recognised in the payments world, whilst never a boring moment due to continuous change.

It is therefore that I have stayed connected to payments over 30 years, in different roles, ranging from building global payment platforms and running global operations at a global network bank, to various leading assignments at different corporate clients and financial institutions. The variety of clients will keep me connected to the payments world and the community around it.
